Personalized Fescue Turf Management

Healthy turf starts in the soil, and we practice science-based turf management. Beautiful Fescue lawns aren’t created through one fertilizer application – they are the results of understanding and amending the soil profile while pairing correctly timed treatments with proper cultural practices.

Cool Season Program

Our focus is building healthier turf from the soil up, and we begin with a soil test to help us make better informed decisions about your specific lawn. Understanding the soil pH and any nutrient deficiencies help us tailor your plan to deliver results that make your neighbors envy.

Healthy turf doesn’t just look better. Thick, dense and thriving Fescue lawns are one of the best defenses against weed and pest invasions. They’re more comfortable to walk and play on, they’re more visually appealing, and they show pride in home ownership.

Our Process

1. On-site Evaluation

Call us old school… but we prefer to meet in person and take a walk around your lawn together.

We want to understand your goals, identify any issues and discuss a program or service that will help obtain the desired result.  We are not the big box provider.

2. Quote Provided

Based off what we learned in the lawn assessment, we’ll provide a quote to help you achieve the lawn you’re after. We commonly bundle services like core aeration & overseeding, compost top dressing, and PGR regimens. We don’t do contracts.

If you’re chasing the PGA style lawn… we’re a one stop shop.

3. Service Begins

You’re ready to move forward and we are too.

We take pride in clear communication. You’ll receive scheduling notifications via text and email. We’ll take a soil sample while we’re performing the first treatment and provide the analysis and plan ahead of our next treatment.

4. Ongoing Treatments

You’ll receive a detailed service report after each treatment. We share exactly what we did, why we did it, and what you should expect.

If there’s ever a problem in between our visits, please call, text or email. We will do everything possible to correct the issue.

Program Pillars

Fall : Establish & Rebuild

The foundation of every great Fescue lawn is built in the fall. Core aeration and overseeding restore turf density after the summer stress.

Late Fall through Winter : Develop

Cool temperatures allow the newly seeded and established Fescue to continue developing their root system. Weed pressure is managed.

Spring : Strengthen

Fescue’s time to shine in GA. We’re focused on promoting turf health without pushing excessive growth heading into summer.

Summer : Protect & Defend

Heat, humidity and moisture create significant stress for fescue lawns. Preventative fungicides, limited Nitrogen and targeted weed control.
